The Metro Group's two business arms are in property and retail. The Group's operations are spread out over some of the key cities of Singapore, Malaysia, China and Indonesia, and are supported by a team of 932 staff.

The group owns and operates several prime retail and office properties in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, China and Penang, Malaysia. It also holds significant investments in certain property business in China.

Metro serves its customers through a chain of department stores in Singapore as well as Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia. The Metro shopping brand is a familiar household name in the retail industry and offers a wide range of quality merchandise on display over 783,000 square feet of downtown and suburban retail space.
